SaaS development company UAE: multi-tenant platforms with billing, onboarding and the operations behind them

A SaaS development company UAE founders and software vendors choose has to think past the first customer. Every tenant needs its own data, settings, users and invoices inside one codebase that is upgraded for everyone at once. Next Orbit designs and builds multi-tenant platforms this way, and runs its own product, e-trainia, on the same principles. The result is a product you can sell by subscription, not a project that must be re-installed for every client.

Quick answer

What is SaaS development and who is it for?

A SaaS development company UAE businesses engage builds software that many customers use at once, each in their own tenant, paid for by subscription. Next Orbit designs the tenant model, the plans and billing, the onboarding flow and the admin tools that keep a SaaS business running. The stack is usually Next.js or React on the front end with Node.js or Python services. Data sits in PostgreSQL with row-level tenant isolation on AWS or Azure. Payments run through UAE gateways and card billing with VAT invoices. We own and operate e-trainia, our LMS and training platform, so the operational side of SaaS is familiar to us. Every platform can be bilingual in Arabic and English.

  • What multi-tenant means. One codebase and one deployment serving many customers, with data, settings, branding and users separated per tenant. Upgrades are released to everyone at the same time.
  • What SaaS also needs. Plans, trials, metered usage, VAT invoices, dunning for failed payments, tenant onboarding, usage analytics, status monitoring and a support desk. The first customer never asks for these.
  • What we deliver. Tenant architecture, product design, the platform build, billing and payments, onboarding and admin tools, cloud setup with monitoring, documentation and ongoing product sprints.
  • Office. Next Orbit Technologies L.L.C, 509-23, Mai Tower, Al Nahda 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, serving the whole UAE, the GCC and globally.
  • Built around your operation The architecture is agreed with you before any code, so the system fits how you already work.
  • Proven before you commit A prototype built around your workflow shows it working before the main investment.
  • Ready for the UAE Arabic and English, UAE compliance such as VAT and e-invoicing where it applies, UAE hosting where your rules require it, secure by design.

What we deliver

SaaS development: what Next Orbit builds and runs for you

Pick a deliverable to see what it covers and the part of the stack behind it.

Deliverable 01

Multi-tenant SaaS platform development in Dubai

We design the tenant model first: a shared database with row-level isolation for most products, separate schemas or databases where a customer demands it. Roles, permissions, branding, custom fields and feature flags are set per tenant. Migrations roll out to every tenant in one release.

From the stack

  • PostgreSQL
  • Docker & Kubernetes
  • Node.js
  • TypeScript

Deliverable 02

Subscription billing software in the UAE

Plans, trials, seats and usage-based pricing. Card payments run through gateways such as Telr, Network International or Stripe where available, with bank transfer for enterprise accounts. Invoices carry UAE VAT, sequential numbering and the fields your accountant needs. Failed payments follow a dunning sequence.

From the stack

  • Laravel / PHP
  • .NET
  • Flutter
  • PostgreSQL

Deliverable 03

Onboarding, self-service and admin

Sign-up, workspace creation, invitations, data import and guided setup so a new tenant reaches value without a call. A platform admin console shows tenants, plans, usage, health and support cases, with impersonation under audit for your customer success team.

From the stack

  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • MongoDB
  • Redis

Deliverable 04

Cloud, security and operations

Infrastructure as code on AWS or Azure, automated deployments, backups, monitoring and alerting, with secrets and encryption handled properly. Single sign-on, audit logs and data export are built in because enterprise buyers ask for them. See our cloud and DevOps services.

From the stack

  • PostgreSQL
  • Power BI
  • Node.js
  • Python / Django / FastAPI

Deliverable 05

Product design and bilingual UX

Research with early customers, information architecture, a design system and screens in Arabic and English with right-to-left layouts. The design system keeps the product consistent as the team grows, and our UI and UX design practice stays involved after launch.

From the stack

  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • React

Deliverable 06

Launch and continuous product sprints

After launch the work becomes a roadmap. It covers analytics on activation and retention, feature releases behind flags, performance work and enterprise security questionnaires. Next Orbit continues as the product team or hands over to yours with documentation and a transition period.

From the stack

  • Power BI
  • Laravel / PHP

How a typical SaaS development system fits together

Before a line of production code is written we draw the system: the people who use it, the services behind it and the systems it must talk to. This reference architecture from our custom software development practice is the starting point we adapt to your operation.

Questions, answered

SaaS development in the UAE: questions we are asked

01 Should we choose SaaS vs custom software in the UAE?

SaaS suits a standard process shared by many companies, with lower setup effort and upgrades included. Custom software suits a process that gives you an advantage or that no product covers. Many UAE companies combine both: a SaaS core such as e-tijariX for operations, with custom modules built around it.

02 How do you choose a SaaS development company in the UAE?

Ask whether they have built and operated a multi-tenant product, not only project software. Ask to see billing, onboarding and the admin console working. Check that the infrastructure and code will be in your accounts, and that they can explain tenant isolation in plain terms.

03 Do you build SaaS products for companies outside Dubai?

Yes. SaaS products UAE companies ask us to build are delivered to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest of the UAE and the GCC. Everything runs from our one office in Dubai. Discovery and design workshops happen on site or online, and every sprint ends with a remote demo.

04 Can a SaaS platform handle UAE VAT invoices and billing?

Yes. Subscription invoices carry the tax registration number, VAT amount and sequential numbering the Federal Tax Authority expects. They can be issued in Arabic and English. Billing data exports to your accounting system or ERP. Confirm the invoice format with your tax adviser; this page is not tax or legal advice.

05 Is e-trainia an example of your SaaS work?

Yes. e-trainia is the LMS and training management platform Next Orbit owns and operates, with AI scheduling and Arabic and English interfaces. Building and running it is why our SaaS projects include onboarding, billing and operations from the start, not as an afterthought.

06 Can the platform run as a dedicated deployment for one customer?

Yes. The same codebase can be deployed as public SaaS for most customers. It can also run as a dedicated deployment where a customer needs its own infrastructure for compliance reasons. Feature flags and configuration keep both on the same release train, so you are not maintaining two products.

07 Will the SaaS platform work in Arabic and English?

Yes. Every custom build can be bilingual, with right-to-left layouts, Arabic and English screens, emails and documents, and tenant-level language defaults. Customers can enter their own content in both languages. This matters for products sold to government and education buyers, who often require Arabic interfaces.
