ERP software for small business in the UAE: accounts, stock, sales, VAT and payroll in one system from day one

ERP software for small business in the UAE has to do what a bookkeeper, a spreadsheet and three subscriptions do today, in one place. It must do so at a cost a small team can carry. The business still has to issue compliant tax invoices, file VAT 201 correctly, prepare for Corporate Tax and e-invoicing, and pay salaries through WPS. Next Orbit offers, implements and supports e-tijariX, an all-in-one system built for UAE SMEs, and guides each business live through its own setup.

  • VAT 201 from live data
  • PINT AE e-invoicing ready
  • Payroll with WPS
  • Arabic and English
  • VAT compliant ERP software in the UAE
  • E-invoicing ERP in the UAE
  • Accounting and inventory in one
  • Sales, quotes and getting paid

Quick answer

What is SME ERP and who is it for?

ERP software for small business in the UAE should give an owner tax invoices with every FTA field and a VAT 201 return calculated from live transactions. Stock and sales sit in the same system, payroll produces the WPS salary file, and the books post themselves. e-tijariX, which Next Orbit implements and supports, does this for SMEs in trading, distribution, retail and services, in Arabic and English. It runs as SaaS with an isolated install per customer. The Launch Centre, guided tours and a live guide on the real screens mean a small team goes live without a long training project. When the business grows into unusual processes, Next Orbit builds custom extensions through the API.

  • The problem. An accounting package, a spreadsheet for stock, a store builder, a WPS tool and WhatsApp for sales, reconciled by hand every month and never quite agreeing.
  • What an SME needs. Compliant invoices, VAT 201 without re-typing, one stock figure, payroll that posts to the books, roles so staff see only their own area, and help on the screen itself.
  • What we deliver. Industry preset, migration from Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho or Excel, chart of accounts and opening balances, VAT and document setup, payroll, training and ongoing support from Dubai.
  • Office. Next Orbit Technologies L.L.C, 509-23, Mai Tower, Al Nahda 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, serving the whole UAE, the GCC and globally.
  • Built around your operation The architecture is agreed with you before any code, so the system fits how you already work.
  • Proven before you commit A prototype built around your workflow shows it working before the main investment.
  • Ready for the UAE Arabic and English, UAE compliance such as VAT and e-invoicing where it applies, UAE hosting where your rules require it, secure by design.

Deliverable 04

Sales, quotes and getting paid

Questions, answered

SME ERP in the UAE: questions we are asked

01 What should ERP software for small business in the UAE include?

At minimum: compliant tax invoices, a VAT 201 return from live data, receivables and payables, bank reconciliation and stock if you hold goods. Add payroll with the WPS salary file and roles so staff see only their own area. It should also be ready for e-invoicing and Corporate Tax so you do not change systems again. This is not tax or legal advice.

02 Is there ERP for startups in Dubai free zones?

Yes. e-tijariX is used by new companies in Dubai mainland and free zones from their first invoice. Setup covers company and TRN details, bilingual invoice templates, pay-by-link, a free zone payroll policy profile where staff are employed, and a chart of accounts ready for the first VAT return. Modules are added as the business grows.

03 Is e-invoicing ERP in the UAE needed for small businesses?

The UAE e-invoicing mandate is being phased in by the Ministry of Finance and the FTA. The scope and dates for each business size are set by them, not by software vendors. e-tijariX is built to the PINT AE standard and connects to accredited service providers, so a small business is ready when its turn comes. Confirm your obligations with your tax adviser.

04 Can we move from Tally, QuickBooks or Zoho without losing history?

Yes. The Migration Centre has ready mappings for Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Odoo, Xero, Sage and spreadsheets. A test import writes nothing; the commit then runs cut-over checks on trial balance, receivables, payables, stock value and VAT position. Past tax invoices are kept read-only in a compliant archive. See migration to e-tijariX.

05 Does VAT compliant ERP software in the UAE replace our accountant?

No. It removes re-typing and gives the accountant live figures, a VAT 201 pack, ageing, bank matches and an audit trail. Review time then goes into judgement rather than data entry. Your accountant or tax agent still reviews the return and the Corporate Tax pack before filing. This is not tax or legal advice.

06 Do you support small businesses in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?

Yes. Next Orbit works from one office in Dubai and implements e-tijariX as ERP software for small business in the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and the GCC. Demos, migration and training run remotely or on site, and support is the same wherever the company is registered.

07 What happens when the business outgrows a small business ERP?

Nothing has to be replaced. e-tijariX adds warehouses, branches, companies, dealers, marketing and HR as you grow, with consolidation across entities. For processes no package models, Next Orbit builds custom extensions through the REST API or a custom ERP alongside the modules you keep. See also ERP for trading companies.
